Participation Requirements The Warrenton Chorale is a voluntary, non-audition,
community group dedicated to the production of the finest musical performances
we are capable to the praise and glory of Jesus Christ. To that
end, we are serious about our commitment to the group and each other. Seasons We have two concerts seasons; Christmas (four concerts the first
weekend in December) and Spring (one concert the last Sunday in April. Rehearsal Requirements 1. We meet for Twelve (12) weeks of rehearsal
prior to the concert on Tuesdays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. 2. Attendance at all
rehearsals for the entire rehearsal time is expected.
3. Unavoidable misses must be reported
to the section leader. 4. Two misses require review by the director and
the board. 5. Three misses will prevent participation in
the current concert. Rehearsal Etiquette Please, arrive promptly for warm-up exercises. Wear
comfortable clothing and please do not "refresh" your cologne or perfume.
Many are sensitive to odors and some of us have strong allergies. Turn
off cell phones and pagers. Pay attention to the music director’s instructions.
(We recommend you write his notes on your music in pencil and mark, with
an arrow, your part.) Proper hydration is essential for your vocal health
as well as general health. We strongly encourage you to bring a
bottle of water to rehearsal. Please wear your name tag ! Registration Fee Warrenton Chorale has the lowest registration cost in
the D.C. area. $35. This covers only a fraction of our operating
costs. Donations are gratefully accepted and recognized in the concert
programs on the Donor Page. Dress Men who have their own tuxedos may wear them. The
Chorale will provide bow tie and cummerbund. If a tux is needed,
the Chorale will order one for you for purchase (preferred) or $20 annual
rent. Women are required to wear the Chorale dress. You
will be fitted and a dress ordered for you for purchase (preferred) or
for $20 annual rent. Some used gowns are available for a discounted
purchase price. Child Care No child care is provided for rehearsals or concerts. More Information Should you ever have any questions regarding the
